About the author

Jim Gardner recieved his Bachelor's degree in Art from the University of Wisconsin in 1973.   Having worked his way through college by entertaining in the college bars and hotel lounges, he stayed with his music career until he was in his mid thirties.  

At that time he returned to his art by working in print shops and advertising agencies.  There he learned a lot about promotion and graphic arts and the practical side of art and business.

Today he paints wall murals around Phoenix, Arizona, and he lives in Mesa, AZ with his wife and 2 dogs.
